Happiness is a pretty subjective concept, but research does suggest there’s a link between happiness and exercise. A study in the Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology found that more physically active people reported greater feelings of excitement and enthusiasm than less physically active people. If you’re already a regular exerciser, I’m sure you know this to be true: happiness is one of the best benefits of exercise.
